Who we are

We’ve been in this market longer than it’s been fashionable.

Emporia is home to three software companies serving secondhand retail. We own what we operate, invest for the long term, and stay close to the businesses that use our products every day. Our measure of success is simple: are our customers selling more?

How we operate

Each company brings deep expertise in the part of secondhand commerce it serves. We add capital, engineering depth, and a view of the market that no single product can see on its own.

Every decision gets tested against one question: does this help a merchant sell more, sell faster, sell more easily, and get a better price? That’s the only scoreboard we keep.

Growth, measured by someone else

Emporia was named to the 2026 Inc. 5000, Inc.’s annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America. We mention it for one reason: we don’t publish our own numbers, so it’s useful when a third party publishes them for us.

Leadership

The people running it.

Operators first. Each of them has spent years inside the businesses our software serves.

What comes next

They’ve already built the businesses. We’re building what helps them go further.

More inventory discovered. More buyers reached. More businesses growing. The future of secondhand starts in the store.
